What are your business hours?Platinum Personnel Solutions operate between the hours of 09:00am - 17:00pm Monday to Friday. This does not include public holidays and bank holidays.

Who will I be paid by as a candidate working for your company?Us! Platinum Personnel Solutions UK Ltd.. We operate as the middle man as such. We pay a member of staff 'x' amount then charge our customers a margin above that. That's how we maintain operating.

As somebody looking for employment, can you guarentee me work?"We'd love to say yes, but no. We cannot always offer candidates work due to certain circumstances such as a candidates 'criminal background', lack of transport or health issues to name a few.

Do I have to meet you (PPS) in person prior to starting work?Platinum Personnel Solutions prefer majorly to meet all of our candidates prior to placing them in work. This is so we can get the best understanding of your needs, check identification and merely get to know you so that we can make the best decision as to where we should place you. On extremely rare occasions and with the understanding of the customer it may sometimes mean we may telephone interview a candidate but this is unpreffered.

How much do your services cost?There is no set margin on the cost of our services however, Platinum Personnel Solutions thrive to ensure we offer a competitive and cost effective price with all our customers both existing and new. We will negotiate any prices with new customers upon meeting them dependant on your needs.

Who will you send us? - Client based.We will ensure that the candidates we offer and or send you will fit the desired job specifications and that they are fit to work in the UK. All identification and background checks are caried out effectively to ensure we can offer you the best of the best.

I'm currently employed by Platinum Personnel Solutions, I'm sick and are unable to attend work. What should I do?"That's fine, everyone gets sick. The first thing you should do is to contact the company we have placed you at with as most notice as possible. Secondly, you should contact ourselves during our opening hours however sending an email/ text message or any form cf contact is acceptable. We cannot stress enough that candidates who call sick must do so prior to the start of their shift. Candidates must keep both ourselves and the given company you have been placed at a good indication of when you can return to work.

I've been unwell and haven't been attending work, do I get still get paid?"Candidates who have been unwell will be paid statutory sick pay (SSP) given that they have been off work for 4 or more days in a row (including non-working days). Candidates must apply for SSP and provide us (their employer) with a SSP certificate. Platinum Personnel Solutions do not offer company sick pay. How can I contact PPS outside of their business hours?You may find that you have a personnel mobile contact number for the consultant that is working along side you. If this is the case please feel free to ring 24/7 given that it is a situation that physically cannot wait! We all like our sleep. Any other matters can be sent via email or text etc during office hours only!

When will I be paid?We process payroll typically on mondays in order for our candidates to be paid on the Friday. Platinum Personnel Solutions process hours a week behind so for an example: You worked Monday to Friday (8th - 12th October) Your hours will be processed on Monday 15th October Those hours we be paid into your given bank account on Friday 19th October.

How can I vew my payslips?Your payslips will be viewable by a service we use called 'Portico Blue' Payslips are often viewable on the Thursday (1 day you are due to be paid) via the portico blue website. You will be sent an activation link for an account prior to your first payment given that you have supplied us with a correct email address. If you haven't recieved an activation email for Portico Blue then please let us know and we can rectify this for you.

Do you take on Limited companies and those that are Self-Employed?Yes, we are more than happy to use your services given that Limited companies have a corporation certificate and can provide proof that they are a Limited company. Self-Employed personnel must have a UTR (unit tax reference) number and must provide proof that they are indeed self-employed.

Where in the country do you operate and offer your services?Platinum Personnel Solutions operate only in the United Kingdom. We predominantly operate in East Anglia and surrounding areas such as Essex and just short of the midlands. This is purely because we like to meet our candidates however if your needs go beyond our boundaries then often enough we are still happy to help. We have dealt in places such as Reading etc. in the past.
